About

Engaged in the study of urban and anthropogenic geomorphology, my primary objective is the formulation of an innovative methodology for geomorphological mapping that comprehensively captures the intricate interplay of landscapes, processes, and landforms influenced and shaped by anthropogenic activities.

As a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia from 2019 to 2021, my research investigated the field of urban and anthropogenic geomorphology within Metro Vancouver. My focus extended to subjects such as geoheritage, geodiversity, and geotourism in urban environments.

I am enthusiastic about fostering knowledge exchange with scholars worldwide who share an interest in the exploration of urban geomorphology, anthropogenic geomorphology, as well as the interconnected fields of geoheritage and geotourism.
