Minelle Mahtani is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Social Justice, University of British Columbia, and is currently Senior Advisor to the Provost for Racialized Faculty. She has written “Mixed Race Amnesia: Resisting the Romanticization of Multiraciality” (UBC Press) and is one of the editors of “Global Mixed Race” (NYU Press).
