The BSc Atmospheric Science is an interdisciplinary program that analyzes various aspects of the atmosphere including: meteorology, climate variability and prediction, atmospheric chemistry, physics, air pollution, and the interactions between land, oceans, and atmosphere.
Program Overview
This interdisciplinary program is jointly sponsored by the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS) and the Department of Geography. However, it also includes faculty members from the Chemistry, Land and Food Systems, and Applied Science departments. Currently, we offer major and honours options for undergraduates.
Our majors and honours options provide in-depth specialization to help qualify students for graduate study in meteorology and atmospheric sciences. Students will work closely with data, integrating it with their meteorological knowledge to tackle broad issues on air quality, environment, sustainability, renewable energy, and climate variability.
