Jamie Peck receives prestigious Vautrin Lud Prize



 

Professor Jamie Peck has been awarded the highly prestigious Vautrin Lud Prize for 2023.

Awarded since 1991, this prize is considered the ‘Nobel of Geography’ and highlights scholars whose work has had a particular impact on the discipline, its thinking and development. Winners are selected by a five person international committee.

It is awarded during the International Geography Festival, which is held every year in Saint-Dié des Vosges, France. This year’s ceremony will take place on Sunday 1st October.
