Prof. Marwan Hassan has been awarded the Qian Ning International Prize for Erosion and Sedimentation Technology by the World Association for Sedimentation and Erosion Research.
The prize recognizes Prof. Hassan’s outstanding contributions to advancement of knowledge in erosion and sedimentation and to international cooperation.
It is given once every three years and was awarded at the International Symposium on River Sedimentation (ISRS) in Chengdu, China in September.
