Congratulations Matthew Evenden who has been promoted to full Professor, effective July 1, 2015!
Professor Evenden’s research focuses on environmental history and water history, particularily on the history and politics of large rivers, particularly in Canada. His latest book, Allied Powers: Mobilizing Hydro-Electricity during Canada’s Second World War, was published earlier this year. He is a founding executive member of NiCHE, the Network in Canadian History and Environment, and the Chair of Canadian Studies at UBC.
