Nina Hewitt has been awarded a 2022/23 Killam Teaching Prize!
The Killam Teaching Prize is awarded annually to faculty at UBC nominated by students, colleagues and alumni in recognition of excellence in teaching.
Nina is an Associate Professor of Teaching at UBC Geography. Her research explores vegetation dynamics with a focus on the impacts of human activities, particularly ecosystem fragmentation, altered disturbance regimes, biological invasions and climate change.
