Simon Donner is Appointed to Net-Zero Advisory Body

We would like to congratulate Simon Donner on his appointment to the Net-Zero Advisory Body and thank him for his service.

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, under subsection 21(1) of the Canadian Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act, appoints Simon D. Donner of Vancouver, British Columbia, to be a member of the Net-Zero Advisory Body, to hold office for a term of three years.

The Net-Zero Advisory Body, NZAB, is a group of independent experts from across Canada. Established in 2021 by the federal Minister of Environment and Climate Change, their role is to advise on how Canada can achieve its goal of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. NZAB advice will always be independent, evidence-based, public, and grounded in Canada’s unique realities.
