With sadness we share that our colleague, Terence (Terry) McGee, a distinguished Canadian geographer and scholar of Asian urbanism and development, died on June 26th 2025. He leaves behind a record of influential research, many friends and admirers in the academic world, and a spirit of conviviality epitomized by the “McGlee Club” – the community of graduate students that he mentored during his years at UBC.
